I’m resuscitating this site I suppose. New tweaks. New connectivity. All forthcoming.

Now that I don’t have a significant portion of Tahlequah, OK looming over my shoulder, I feel free enough to actually say something others might wish to read. So, like most blogs, this blog is about how I swear I am going to start using my blog. No-I-really-mean-it-this/every-time statements abound. I only stopped writing here before because I knew full well it was likely my students would be able to find it, and all I really had to talk about was how much I hated my job (or rather, some of the other faculty). Being as I insisted on being professional and never slagging off other faculty in front of my students (something I’ve learned my successor failed to adopt), it follows that this site needed hibernation. Let the thaw begin.

There shall be some Facebook connectivity so hopefully traffic might find its way here and perhaps I will even include some new photos for once. As per most blogs, I am most excited by comments. There are no ads here, so know that I am not gaining any money for your participation. I just generally love discourse with people I know and respect. Please write in frequently. Given enough regular participation from anyone who wishes it, I might even allow others to post here, provided anyone reads this thing. I’m open to it happening at any rate.

In the mean time, all of my old posts have changed status. I will be reviewing them slowly for embarrassing content (I have high school friends within earshot, after all) and as the timeline moves forward, it is my hope it shall also extend backwards. We’ll see. I’m sooo cautious about this thing.
